Quenioux is a gentle person, with…the endearingly antisocial habit of seeing everything he encounters as food: …a neighbor’s chicken, which he killed and cooked when it came into his yard. Certain laws just don’t make sense to him, like the one that prohibits him from serving a dessert made from chocolate hot-boxed with pot smoke.

This really has nothing to do with this awesome thing about eating insects, but it made me laugh so much. 

Let’s eat bugs, everyone. Chapulín tacos on me!

This is a dish called Odori-Don. It has a dead squid on top that “dances” when Soy Sauce is poured on it, activating its neurons.

I am less okay with this than I thought I would be.
